Upcoming TBer gig forum

A forum where talkbass members can post upcoming gigs they'll be playing might a nice idea.

Would love to see some of the folks here play in person, and while the occasional gigspam post does come up in Off Topic or Misc., it usually drops out of view very quickly due to lack of replies (it's not really a discussion topic after all I guess).

Guessing a forum might not be the best technology to do this though, as having things ordered by 'Date of gig' or geographical location would be handy.

Well, besides the gigspam posts, we also have the gig/event calendar.

Being able to search through it by geographical location would still be handy though..

Hey, here's an idea

What about organising a major TB jam?? All the bassists from this room who are able to get there could have a huge bass mega-jam!

it would rock! i couldn't get there, but i'd certainly buy the cd.

you only have to hire a magic drummer, a low-key (hah!) guitarist and some keys, maybe horns, and get on it!!!
