User locations in main thread view

I liked having the person's location under their name in the old forums. Now you have to click and go into their profile to see where they're from.

Any chance we can get that feature back? It's much more useful to have the location in the main thread view.

I agree - it especially helps to know that people are UK-based and then those of us here, can help more and take more of an interest...

I third that. Knowing where a user is located is often very helpful.

But it's much more useful if people choose from a country location drop-down menu - I noticed while TB was down, that Bass Plaza/Bass.nl does this and nobody has complained about choosing their country from the drop-down list!!

I dont mind, I can imagine that a few people might for irrational reasons though.

Yeah it would be good if the locations were back...like bruce said you can take more interest and offer better advice on prices, shops ect for people in your own or state or country

Agreed; I was gonna post this thread if somebody else hadn't already. Before the upgrade, I made a habit of checking everyone's location when reading their posts, that's pretty much impossible now without spending a lot of extra time.

Paul fixed it after I posted last night. It is working now. Legacy is not.
