You can learn crazy new words like:
Aeroplane
Colour
Harbour
Aluminium
Oestrogen
Encyclopaedia
And use proper suffixes, withOUT the letter z!
Go talkbass from the motherland. And make it R18 so we can all swear & talk dirty.
This is my dream. | ...I azzume you're kidding?

I do agree with at least posting in the title of your ad, your location if your not in the States.

Personally I find that a big part of the appeal of TB is to get a US perspective on things :
So firstly it is intresting culturally - UK is very similar to the US in some ways , but completely different in others.
Secondly, I like Jazz, but this is very much a minority taste in the UK and there is much more interest/knowledge amongst US posters - I can actually talk to people who know what I mean !! Plus this has been a huge source of knowledge/inspiration for me.
In fact if I was just limited to conatct with UK people, I think I probably would have given up trying to play Jazz long ago!!

(and no, I'm not kidding)

The issue has been raised and is in the suggestion box, so Paul will deal with it as he sees fit.

Matthew | From seeing previous threads around here - that's not usually the way it works - I think Paul likes to see as many opinions from as many people as possible. I don't think I've ever seen one of these closed * - I mean the point is to get suggestions, not choke them off....
[* I suppose that it will be now!! ]

You are right, I probably posted in haste.
It's just that if it gets off the subject with little prospect of it getting back on track then in my opinion the thread has probably run it's course.

Overall, I disagree with the idea. Not to mention the extra cost and time Paul would have to put forth.

Hang on, they are American not British so why did I buy them?
Oh yes I remember I heard about how good they were and that they would be perfect for my situation here on TB
