It's because many many people need to get back to school.

Many little people who "play bass" come here and use it more like their blog and a instant messenger, not the BBS forum that it is.

Once school comes around, it will clean up.

I hope...

Oh yeah, and not once in my first post in this thread did I say it was you. You getting offended thinking it was refering to you, responding to it as though it was refering to you, only reinforces the notion that it is you, and that you know it is you.

perhaps this question would be better suited if you posted it in Pauls Shack in the report bugs area. He'd know better than anyone here why its been slow.

My guess is the server is bogged down. But then again I dunno, ask Paul.

Yes it's been a lot better.
I haven't been coming long, but for a while it was really bad (Beginning, middle of July)

This site rules though, so thanks.

I think TB needs another server.

It's been exremely and painfully slow these last few weeks.

I notice you're not doing anything to help pay for one...

Ok, as of Oct 22nd, 10pm GMT - 600 I've made some significant updates to the back-end server software. Let me know if you notice any changes in page-load times (better or worse), or if you get any server busy errors, failed loads, etc.

Thanks!!

POW!!!!!!!!! That's a knockout punch if ever I saw one....

Paul I got an "Server too busy" message this morning, 23/10/03 at about 10.30am Sydney time. With the time difference it probably occured before your server tweaks. I'll let you know if there are any further glitches.

Let's see... that would put it at about 7:30pm my time... yeah, that was before the upgrade. So far so good

Recently it has been extremely slow... it took 2 minuites (i have a timer on my Web browser) to load a picture, and it's been saying "Cannot connect to server" and it has been going like wayy slower than it should be. It's not my internet, because it goes really fast on all the other websites i'm at. Is it possible for TB to get another server, or is that out of question?
