can't upload photo

The pic I want to post is well within the limits of size and KB. When I click upload it says "Please wait." and then blinks but no icon comes up where it's supposed to. I've done it directly from the desktop and from IPhoto, but no luck with either. I've got an older IMac snowball running OSX 10.3. Help!

12 views but not one reply? anyone out there using this version of OSX who *can* post pics? (i can put it an email but can't put it up here.) i was told "Paul" might know something - but don't know who Paul is.

Count me in as an OSX user who can post pics. I'm not sure what the problem is since I cannot duplicate it, but I'm guessing maybe a firewall issue?

In any case, the better method to include pics in your posts is to use [img] tags. Use a site like photobucket and include pictures as described here:
