Question Hey there, hullo there.

Sign in to disble this ad
I worked out my Avatar issue above.
When I want to include an attachment in my posts I click on "Manage Attachments", guess what? Nothing. I deleted the few attachments I had in my attachment folder....still nothing.
Anybody out there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If nothing at all happens when you click "manage attachments", I think your browser is blocking the little popup window that lets you select a file from your computer. Try enabling popup windows for TalkBass -

Nope. When I did my Avatar I had no problem. (finally)

It has come up at times allowing me to put in a clickable icon, which I did this morning already. I haven't changed a thing in my pop-up features. One time it'll work, next it won't.
I'ved re-sized everything perfectly.
If I ever get the attachment feature to work, how do I get the pic to come up opened in the body of the post?

Paul I'm confused - If the window is popping up when you click "manage attachments", then please tell me exactly where you hit the error and what the error is... Does the window pop up and you are then able to hit the "choose file" button to browse your computer for the file to attach?? Thanks

I'm fine really, Paul. This is no more a TB issue. At tines, the "Manage Attchments" window wouldn't come up at all after clicking, then it would.
I'm ok getting the pic file icon into my post as a clickable file. I was just wondering how to get an opened pic into the body of my post.
Thanks for trying to understand and help....my problem now, not yours. I'm confusing you by trying to address two issues in two theads here in the bugs dept.
Best, PW.

Paul,

Ahhh - sorry, if you want an image to appear fully in your post, you'll have to upload it onto another site, and then reference it in your post with [img] tags. More info on that here:

Otherwise, if you upload the image as an attachment, it'll just appear as a link (the thumbnail generator is currently not working)
