Links All Go To "Forums" Page

It's weird. Wheter I'm clicking a link or typing in the url, I end up at "forums."

Same thing using google search. The results show, but the links go to the all forums page.

Same thing with me. Seems like just this evening everything is redirecting at "forums".

Site maintenance perhaps?

Same thing here, just came to make the thread myself but it looks like I'm not alone.

I want to sign up as the 5th member of this club. I'm getting the same thing, Google links and my bookmarked links goto the forums page.

Same thing here. Google results go to the forum, but the internal search seems to work.

Also bookmarks. Any saved URL fails, because old URLs look like "http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f65/links-all-go-to-forum-page.html", but the current URL is "http://www.talkbass.com/forum/thread867315.html". It's like there was some fairly radical change to the forum configuration, but ... nothing in the Announcements forum in the last 30 days?

And again today...I click the Amps forum and it bounces me out the the 'forums' page, I can get into the Basses forum without problem. I've logged out and back in again, just in case...

I cleared my cache and it still bounces me to the main Forums page. If I click on most of the subforums it bounces me right back to the main Forumspage.

Thanks, that worked.

Now, why would you (admins) do something that requires us (users) to clear our cache to even view the forum, without letting us know in any way? A less stubborn user than I would just leave and never return, rather than search for answers.

I don't mean to be offensive; it's just something that I think can easily affect people's view of the reliability of the forum and its admins.

Some settings relating to SEO (search engine optimization) somehow got overwritten, which changed forum/thread urls causing this issue. We noticed it a while ago this afternoon, and made the change back to what the settings should have been.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
