Site maintenance perhaps?

Any saved URL fails, because old URLs look like "http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f65/links-all-go-to-forum-page.html", but the current URL is "http://www.talkbass.com/forum/thread867315.html". It's like there was some fairly radical change to the forum configuration, but ... nothing in the Announcements forum in the last 30 days? |

Now, why would you (admins) do something that requires us (users) to clear our cache to even view the forum, without letting us know in any way? A less stubborn user than I would just leave and never return, rather than search for answers.
I don't mean to be offensive; it's just something that I think can easily affect people's view of the reliability of the forum and its admins.

We noticed it a while ago this afternoon, and made the change back to what the settings should have been.
We apologize for the inconvenience. |
