little weird problem

whenever i click one of the smilie icons at the right of the screen, it causes the whole window to scroll up to the top and doesn't actually insert the smilie code into my post.
if i keep clicking the icon it will eventually work, but it takes like 10 clicks before it appears.

i know this isn't particularly urgent, i just found it really strange!

does anyone else get this?

it does that to me if I don't wait till the whole page has loaded... I assumed it was a Netscape/Sun Java quirk. I get it in Netscape 7.2 and Mozilla 1.7b on either WinXP and/or Win98
