Malfunctioning Inbox

I have no messages in my In-box. When I go to my email and check it I have emails saying that so and so tryed PM ing me and my box is full, I've emptied it and I still get these messages. Help Please!

Ben,

Make sure that your 'sent items' box is also empty - use the drop-down menu near the top right to visit your other boxes...
