Oddity with new posts envelope icons...

I've noticed the "new posts in thread" icon doesn't always clear after I've posted in a thread.

Example: I post, and then come back through the "new posts" search to see what I may have missed. There's the thread I just posted to a few screen shanges before, with my name as last poster, but still showing as unread. Odd.

I assume the server indicates which icon a user's browser should display for a given thread, and the icons themselves are stored in the user's browser. Am I right?

If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to serve as a horrible warning.

As I cuddled the porcupine he said I had none to blame, but me.

I have noticed the same issue. It seems to have started after the downtime last Saturday, but I don't know that 100%.
