Why can't I PM from an iOS device?

Tried using my iPhone. Tried using my iPad. I see the option to send a private message for half a second. Then...poof. No longer an option.

Kind of annoying.

This works on an Android device, however the Android App doesn't seem to notify you if you have an unread/new PM.

There is workaround: do a manual search for a member, then send a PM.

I've noticed this too. I frequently have to jump to safari from my iPhone to PM. It's fine once a user is listed in my PM's though, but to initiate a PM, I have to use safari.

You can turn notifications on. The thing that bugs me is that you can't select just PM notifications, you have to get subscribed thread notifications too, which I do not want every half hour.
