Hi guys and gals,

Just wanted to let everyone know that TAB that is in the "Power Tab" format often have the bass tabs even though they are billed as guitar tabs. Power Tab is a cool program you can d'load for free and have professional looking music tab to work with instead of home made "text" tabs. It prints out great. An example is that tonight I was looking for Stevie Wonder's "Sir Duke" and I was checking Ultimate Gutar Tab site and found the text based version and two versions in Power Tab, well one of them was the song for bass even though it never said it was. I have noticed that a few of my old Power Tab songs (from my guitar days) have the bass lines there that I was unaware of. Just go to the top menu bar and go to "view" and chose "bass" instead of "guitar" and see what you get!

Rock on people

Haven't Hal Leonard driven most of the tabs underground with legal threats?

As far as I know, guitar pro tabs are still ok, mainly because there is a disclaimer stating that these are merely transcriptions of the transcribers interpretation of the song, and when threatened tab defenders merely responded with 'why not sue us for working the songs out ourselves?' or something.

Anyway, I think GP and PT are still ok.
