I've been trying to figure out 2 Rob Zombie songs for a couple weeks now. I think I have them, but I'd like to get some opinions. The tabs, as far as I can tell, are wrong...well, wrong key, anyway.
The first: I'm Your Boogie Man

The tabs show playing this in standard tuning (sometimes drop D), but that just sounds horrible compared to the song. I *think* C# tuning sounds much better. Here's the basic progression I came up with: C# - E - F# - G - F# (repeat/alter rhythm as needed).
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------
---0----3----5---6--5--------------------
What do you think, does that sound more accurate?
The 2nd: Brick House
YouTube - ‪Rob Zombie BrickHouse‬‏
There are no tabs for this version, but the tabs for the original version are standard tuning. This also doesn't sound right to me. I play it in C#, G#, C#, F#, like this:
G - C - D - F - F# - G
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------
--------4---6-------------------------
----6-----------4---5---6-------------
I'm still working on all the little fills at the end of that main riff, heh! How does that one sound compared to the Zombie version of that song?
Any help, thoughts, etc would be awesome!
