i bought 5 string bass and im looking for band or songs that have a 5 string bass interesting role ive playing so far:
the trooper-iron maiden
some part of scarefild-racer x
are you dead yet-children of bodom
cowboys from hell-pantera
5 minutes alone-pantera
some parts of laid to rest-lamb of god..
help by giving 5 string bass interesting song tnx

I guess you could play korn with your five string bass.
But they custom tuning on their bass, can't remember it in my head but check them out

You don't need special songs to use a 5 string. I play quite abit in the 5th position. Try that.

Machinehead is usually good stuff to play on a 5 string, along with Carcass and Cannibal Corpse

Most of the Shogun album was played in 7 string guitars and 5 string bass so there is a lot of B action.
You could try Dream Theater too, but some songs need to be played on a 6 strings.
