Ask SuperDuck - he's the moderator, not you (!) and I am simply folowing his advice!

Or are you criticising the moderators in public, Brad - naughty, naughty, tsk tsk!!

So I'm not allowed to express my opinion on a board I am paying to support?

So you are criticising the moderators in public! Have you read any of the guidelines?

Do you want to get banned?

Which mod am I criticizing? I'm criticizing you, Bruce. Are you a mod?

Duh.

No - you were criticising SuperDuck's post , which I copied verbatim and said I agreed with - whereas you disagreed.

You said that SuperDuck's advice was tantamount to stalking Tabbers .......I rest my case!

Read my response again, Bruce... you're really on a roll today. I responded to what you said, not the mod... remember this, seems like it was only a few posts ago:

I agree with this entirely and am very happy to help anybody where I can and back off if they don't want it.

I do most strongly object to being told where I can and can't go in a forum that I am paying to support.

I am happy to follow sensible guidlines but nobody is going to take away my sense of humour and I don't think this was paul's or any of the moderators intention when writing any of the guidelines".

That's what I responded to. Duh

This is particularly interesting: "I am happy to follow sensible guidlines but nobody is going to take away my sense of humour"

Are you challenging the mods?

There is no mention of "sense of humour" in any of the guidelines - I challenge you to find any reference or mention!

Talking Nice try... but seriously weak

Look at my response. It contains a direct quote and my response to that direct quote. The quote is clearly not what the mod said, it's what you said. Duh.

How someone cannot see that is pretty obvious... they don't want to.

Well I think the point is that I will continue to follow the guidleines as I see it and will continue to post where I want, as long as I do so.

Plus - I'm now at 8,000 posts!!

Sometimes I glance into the Tab forum to see if there's anything I can offer help with but most of the time I haven't heard of the bands, let alone the individual songs.

If I had a free and legal way to access the music, I might be inclined to follow Gunnar's suggestion from time to time. So, if you're looking for a tab AND you know samples can be found online (even if just, for example, the 30 second preview at amazon.com) that might help you get more help...

The other point is, you've been wrong repeatedly today. Must be slipping, Moriarty

Ahh, the contrarian reveals his true motive.

Excellent

I use a very nice free and illegal way to access music, download it from KazaaLite. Or copy disks I get from the library. Whatever works for you.

Brad and Bruce...

In this corner, wearing the blue trunks with the white stripes: The Supreme Arguer himself, the always misunderstood -- Bruce Lin-n-n-n-dfie-e-e-e-eld!

And in this corner, wearing the purple and green and pink polka-dotted trunks: The always imitated but never duplicated, the Plucker of the Strings, the Tyrannosaurus of Tab -- Bu-rad John-son-n-n-n-n!

"Let's get it on!"
