I went to a tab website that said this song is in drop D tuning. Is this true? I wouldn't have thought andy fraser would drop-tune a short scale bass. I always thought this song was standard tuning,anyone know for sure? Peace&bass to all

standard tuning works for me in most bars on most saturday nights for this tune....

i've seen the dots and it's all standard tuning....a'course your singer's mileage may vary.....

Thats not to say you can't play it in Drop D if you felt so inclined of course.

I play it in standard. I think the little mini-solo right after the "clean" guitar solo would sound very different in Drop D.
