Phil always plays it differently. I am sure almost anything will work as long as you keep it fluid and melodic as is his playing style. If I have time later tonight, I will take a look at it.

As stated...the Dead and similar bands were about the improv...add your touch and flavor..

Here are the common chords:

B C# D E F# G A

and progressions :

i - VI - VII Bm - G - A
i - iv - VII Bm - Em - A
i - iv - v Bm - Em - F#m
i - VI - III - VII Bm - G - D - A
ii - v - i C#m7b5 - F#m - Bm

Its been years since Ive played that tune but remember it being really easy...Ill touch base in a few with what I played.
