My band decided it would be fun to perform this song sometime, and so we took a whack at it last practice.

There's one section I'm having trouble with. I figured the rest of the song out by ear and a -lot- of practice, but the whole section with the "Cold silence haaaas" lyrics has me confused. I just can't seem to figure out what he's playing there. If anyone can tab that out for me that'd be great.

Thanks, I've seen that before and it got me close. I figured out what I was doing wrong.

It's:
G|-----12-----.......................................--5--.......................--7----7
D|--10----10- ("Cold silence has,") down to --3-- ("haaas,") up to ----5-- ("A tenden,")

back down
G|--5--.................................................. ........--7--.........-----12-----
D|--3-- ("cyyy tooo,") Then it briefly goes back to --5-- then --10----10-- ("Atrophy")

Down again to
G|--5--.......................--7----7--.........................--5--
D|--3-- ("aaanyyy"), up -----5---- ("sense of com,") --3-- ("paaa")--/7 [let ring]-----
A|----- ---------- ----- --0-0-0-0-0-0-0--

Hmm... This might not be the clearest explanation, but I hope it's understandable.

listening the the solo track will help, but to really nail that part listen to it with the vocals and drum mandala pad (what sounds like a distorted tabla) as they are all the same rhythm.
