My Grandfathers were real Cowboys. My area is mostly Oil. I work in a Manufacturing Plant. I can ride and shoot, but no cows.

Just curious, hope this doesn't sound stupid. Do you have access to all the western products made over there or do they export all of them. I know your getting more consumer goods than you used to.

you are right. We have imported all kinds of products from all over the world for at least 15 years. Many famous companies build the join-venture company in Mainland China. For exsample: FORD,GE,BMW,Cocacola,PEPSI and so on.and sure we export goods to aboard, too. As I know, Fender is considering open a product line in ShangHai China. Refer to the music instructments, I can buy fender,warwick,Musicman,Peavey,TAMA,digitech...... in the local stores in my city.but they are expensive to me, even the price seems the same level with it in the western.

The Beatles, "I Saw Her Standing There". McCartney plays it with a pick. I saw an old performance of that song and noticed Maca was using a pick. And he was singing it

I really dig that guys talent.

A lot of Dead Kennedys songs, in particular "Holiday in Cambodia" and "I Am the Owl"

I also think that a lot of Smashing Pumpkins songs, like "I Am One" are a blast to play.

O'Jays - For the Love of Money (Anthony Jackson)

Sounds almost like a guitar, but despite that, its a very cool and funky bassline. Can be played fingerstyle too (like I think it's done on Robben Ford's version of it on the album "Keep on running")

Sting used a lot of pick early on with the Police. Check out "Peanuts" and "Masoko Tanga" from Outlandos D'Amour.
