Anybody know how to play "Natural Joe" by Primus?

I think I've got the notes down (it's pretty simple), but how he slaps it out is beyond me.
It's such a fat riff, I'd love to be able to lay it down, but I'm pretty new to slapping, and can't figure it out for the life of me.

Anybody knowledgeable on the subject?

I used to know how to play it... I remember alot of Hammer-ons, But how les slaps? With his thumb paralell to the string.
