I play it Root, 5th, Root, 5th, 6th, counted 1 2 3 4 &.
For the Walk ups and downs:
Walk down from A to D is A G F# E D counted 3 & 4 & the D is on the 1
Walk up from D back up to the A is D F# G G# A
Walk from A to the E is A C# D D# E
Only one measure on E it Goes back to the D: E B E B C# D
And the D walks back up to A
There is this part during A measures on the 2nd part of the piano solo:
A C C# E F# A A G F# E - The 2 As in the middle are an octave higher than the starting A - pretty cool riff.
I think I need to learn how to make tabs.
