Dude, you don't need no bass tab for Ah Leah...just work it out...it's really a simple tune...KILLER tune, but simple...
sometimes you can find Donnie hangin' out and Primanti Bros in the Southside, too When he's not visiting his pals in Beaver Falls...
(Yes, Queenslanders know all....  )

Have figured out (on my own, not easy for a relatively new bass player, but wanted to let y'all know I've been trying) the intro, chorus, outro and most of the guitar solo pieces to "Ah! Leah!" but haven't been able to crack the verses.
Can anyone send me a tab or help point me in the right direction? My band wants to practice this one tonight and there seems to be nothing out there in internetland for this fun Donnie Iris song!
Many thanks, in advance!

| | | | Sorry I can't help you with the guitar parts but Ah, Leah is a great song. I have seen Donnie Iris several times in concert with his band The Cruisers as well as when he was with The Jaggerz who had the hit song The Rapper. I met him in person and he is a genuinely very nice guy. |

Just to be clear, not looking for the lead/rhythm guitar parts, just the bass lines for the verses. Our "guitard" and "drumber" have their parts and have been practicing all week -- me, I've been struggling to ink out the tab (and falling short)!

Intro: pedal on C#
Verse: B.F#./C#.../B.F#./C#...:||
Chorus: C#.G#/B.F#:||
Tag: EEC#C#../BBF#F#../
Bridge: EEC#C#../C#C#BB../BBF#F#../F#F#C#C#..:||
This was off the top of my head...so try it out and let me know if its close...
Timing was edited after I looked at what I wrote the first time...

Second time through the song, I played around with C#,C#,C#,E (D string,/2nd fret),E, E,B,B,B,F#,F#,F# just during the intro and again for a couple of measures on the outro to mix it up a little. The verse sounds right, but I'm going to play around with it to jump up (octave?) maybe after the first couple of vocal lines (to go up with the singing notes). Chorus and interludes (esp. the progression down) were dead on and sound pretty cool in synch with my guitar player (we're just a trio).
