easy fast paced songs?

I wanted to know if there were any easy fast paced tabs that anyone could give me. I just started playing the bass about a week ago so I don't quite get all the notes but I can still play easy stuff.

what type of music do you listen to? it wouldnt hurt to learn some scales.

ya some scales would be good to, also im not quite sure how to do hammer-ons and I know a lot of tabs have them in it. I listen to a lot of metal, and rock, psychadelic, and funk. I'd like to learn more songs by rage against the machine, and rhcp, and hopefully cowboys from hell by pantera.

Check the technique section for hammer-ons. Basically you play the first note, then fret the next note but don't pluck the string.

My cover band plays a few faster songs that I feel aren't too difficult to wrap your head around on bass:

Powderfinger - Don't Wanna Be Left Out
3 Doors Down - Kryptonite

Pantera's "This Love" and "Walk" are relatively straightforward, so are "Countdown to Extinction" and "Symphony of Destruction" (Megadeth).
