extraction programs

hi this is my first post and this could be in the wrong section so flame me if it is

anyway
i was wondering if any one knows any programs that can extract the bass from a song in mp3 form

so yuo can just hear the bass line so i can play along with it with tabs to see if they are right or i am playing them right along with the songs

i am a beginner at playing and just starting to try and learn a few songs

Most MP3 players like iTunes have EQs built in, so you can cut everything above 1khz.
