Eagles "One of these nights" - Just sounds good on a fretless
Paul Young "Tear your Playhouse down" / "Everytime you go away" - Kind of lame songs but great bass playing by Pino.
Paul Simon "Diamonds on the Soles of her shoes" / "Boy in the Bubble" - Most of his stuff is fretless, the Graceland album is great and all fretless.
Japan "Quiet Life" - I find this song really challenging to play but it is a great fretless song.
Jaco Pastorius - If you can play his stuff correctly then that is great, my technical limitations prevent me from playing his stuff very often.
There are a lot of good fretless songs out there but it is also fun to play regular songs on your fretless and throw some slides and "mwaah"s in there, FWIW.

You can also chek out stuff by Death from the albums Human and Individual Thought Pattern, the bass also being played by DiGiorgio.
Also, if you can play the stuff Lars Norberg plays on Spiral Architect, then I'll have to grovel to your feet in reverance. |

Another favorite of mine is Tony Franklin. Look for his solo albums, he also played with Jimmy Page in The Firm, and was the bassist in Blue Murder.

| | | | you can play pretty much anything on fretless, The more complex faster songs id stay away from as the incontation is hard to get spot on, but hey, there's nothing stopping you practising and getting it spot on.
I like playing Sweet Child of Mine on fretless, its got some nice slides in it and I find it nicer to play. I find hammer ons a little harder on fretless too, doesnt ring as much as fretted in my opinion but you could always change your technique to suit.

Play whatever songs you like that aren't too difficult. Play some scales, arpeggios and octaves all over the neck to practice the intonation. By the way, is it a lined or unlined fretless you have?
