Guitar Pro - where do all those transcriptions come from?

There are tens of thousands of tunes available for Guitar Pro. Where do
all those transcriptions come from? Is there software that does that?
If so, what is it?

The software is Guitar Pro itself. It let's you draw parts and tabs and then you can play the music using the MIDI system of your PC. It is a very useful tool to practice bass and also useful for professional musicians looking for generation of good quality parts for guitar (they support most of the playing effects of guitar and bass like hammers, slides, pull-offs, dead notes, vibrato, etc.).

I use it almost every day. http://www.guitar-pro.com/en/index.php

There is no software that transcribes an audio file onto guitar pro, it is normal users uploading their own GP file to tab websites.

They come from a lot of hard work by dedicated bassists.

I guess the songwriter in a band makes them so that the band can play music from it. There's no software that automatically convert mp3 files into gp5 files. It's all human work.

It does not exist YET. But it will exist, based on AI techniques.

Now THAT would be something i would be willing to pay a heap of money for, if it was accurate.
