Never played (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction. So I go to look up bass tabs and DANG! There's fifty-eleven hundred different ones!

Could someone offer what might be the correct tab from the original Stones recording?

In all honesty, I've never liked the line that Mr. Wyman (or whoever did it) devised for this song. Anyway, here it is:



When the song returns to the segno, the bassline has really minor variations here and there. But it's basically the same thing, so that's why I didn't transcribe it up to the end of the song. Everything you need to know about it is in the image above.

Yeah, most bassists just double the guitar part but that's not how it's played on the album.
