Help with this Tab

Ok i dont know if you would even bother to read through this or help me out but anyways. I am fairly new to bass and i can really only play well maybe 3 songs :P. however u must start somewhere. Anyways this is the next song i was going to learn by tab whilst i get taught theory by my instructor. I have a few questions bout this particular tab if anyone would help me out that would be awesome.

Ok first question, is this umm, something an advanced player should be looking at rather then myself. Ive no idea whats hard and whats not, i do know however that i have minimal interest in playing some of the songs my mates wanted me to play in their band. ( Way to simple and whilst im learning id like to play something decent, once i can play ill be happy to jump around playing open E or whatever they want )

And although i never really expect anyone to spend this much time on me. I would like to ask if someone could show me the correct fingering for this piece, i think im pretty close but it would sure as hell help me finalise my technique. Thanks guys

first off what is the name of the song? yeah it seems a bit tough for a beginner, but you said you dont' know what's hard. it all depends on the player, if you can't play something well, and can't figure it out then like anything else we would consider it hard. just practice a few bars at a time at a slow speed, until you can work up to desired tempo

And i could pretty much play that at speed after 4-5 days. But i was just really concerned that i have the right fingering because i dont want to get used to doing it incorrectly

You can if you learn. Get a fretboard with all the notes written on it, and learn them by heart.

As for which fingers play what, 4 fingers, 1 per fret, and always try to move your hand as little as possible, fingers should be moving the most, so big switches should be made easier to play.

Thats because you dont practice it. If you know your fretboard by heart, do exercise like:

Gminor | Cminor | Gminor | Eb

Use arpeggios 1-3-5-8 for each, on a 4/4 pattern.
