Anybody know how to play this? I'm struggling with just hearing the bass part. I found a site with this, what do you think?
Main riff:
G-------------7-7-7-----
D------------------------
A---5-5-5------------5--
E------------------------
Next riff:
G---7/9--7--5--------------------------------------
D-----------------7-------7---5-5--3-3---3-2-0----
A----------------------5---------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------- |

a keyboard for it.
Not sure tho! |

It's hard to hear on the song, but if you play along with it you will see how well the line works, and its very simple. We played it live last month and the people were singing along and dancing! |

Play that.

John Bonham fills the holes with his huge bass drum sound !

found this tab here: http://www.bassmasta.net/l/led_zeppelin/159980.html
basically, it covers all the string ensemble parts on bass, sounds pretty sweet. With a light chorus or reverb over it, it's totally orgasmic. I bet it would sound even better on a fretless or an 8 or 12 string bass. I'll try post a recording when I get my bandmates together on it. |
