IPad2 or A Droid Tablet?

I was wondering, if anyone knows of a app, that I could add my fakebooks to? I have about ten fakebooks on my computer in PDF form. I have igig on my IPhone, but they are not on there, they are in books. Igig is not a app for the IPad. Can anyone help me with this, IU want to buy a Tab, but I want one that will let me add and use my fakebooks on a gig. A singer I work with uses her IPad 2 when she is doing a new song, but Iwnat to use it with charts from my fake book.

If they're PDF's on your computer, you can just open them in iBooks on an iPad.

^^ This. You just email them to yourself, click on the attached .PDF in your iPad email program, and tell it to open the file in iBooks. I have an iPad 1 and it works fine.

I got the iPad 2, but I didn't have to do all that, I just added the file(fake booked) to iTunes and when I synced the iPad they show up in iBooks as PDF files workers fine! Thank you and everyone for your help!

If you decide to go with a Droid instead of an iPad, you can use pretty much any PDF reader, and uploading the files from your computer is easy.

I've got an Archos 80 G9 "classic," updated to run Ice Cream Sandwich. I mainly got it for web surfing, e-mail, and my calendar. Due to the 8" screen, I don't think that I would want to read standard notation on it, but it's fine for reading just chord symbols.

ForScore, for iPad, will do this plus you get the added functionality of being able to write notes/make corrections, etc on the pages. Very hip.

I've been using the iRealb app (on an IPad, but also available for Droid), works fantastic .... downside is that it is just chord charts .... upside is the fantastic forum they have which provides a huge data base of tunes

ForScore is very cool, too ....
