I can try if you'd like.....but I can't promise that it'd be perfect or anything.

Not to be a smart alec, but simply take your time and write the name of each note above or below it, and then adapt your own preference for fingering/position ... Bass clef lines are Good Boys Do Fine Always (G B D F A), and spaces are All Cows Eat Grass (A C E G) ... the ledger line below the staff is your E string open, first space is A string open, etc ... again, not meant to be critical, it is what an old fool like me does when confronted with standard notation ... after a while it can actually be quicker than tabs .. good luck! ... Make sure you note that this is starting at the bottom of the bass clef and working upwards!

this is a great opportunity to learn how to read music

I know it's not the easiest solution in the short term, but you can evolve so much as a musician if you develop this skill

I couldn't read music when I joined the school big band several years ago, but being given a score that you HAVE to play sure forces you to find a way... from not being able to read a note of music, one of my favorite things to do now is transcribe insanely difficult bass lines to notation

it depends if you want to do everything possible to become a better musician, or just get by

It would be good for you to learn to tab your own stuff and actually read sheet music (better when you can see the rhythm) But i'm not one to talk i can hardly play sheet music on bass only on sax (multiple ways to play the same note confuse me a little with the bass but I'm working on it) but i have nothing better to do so send me the sheet music and I'll tab it free of charge :P

Just remember, the lines in music for Bass clef go up (bottom to top) like GBDFA (Good Bassists Do Funk Awesomely, or whatever you want it to be).

I'm not great on tabs, but if you know where notes are, I can do that if you post it.

But learn how to read sheet music. It is good for you.

If you can read treble clef, I recommend you give it a try. It's a great way to learn to read bass clef. If you would like someone to check your results, just holler.
