The transcription is good for nicking licks but a song like this is really an improvisational playground. If after listening to this song you don't have any idea how to approach it as an 'improvisational playground' then you are really missing out on one of the best things about being a bass player. Songs like this, and like Led Zep's
Lemon Song (which Lenny kinda, how should we say... 'paid tribute to' during the key change) give us a chance for our playing to step forward a bit and share some of the spotlight.
