Is that Bass charging through that song or is it zakks detuned super powerd guitar?

The intro has me mostly confused.

If anyone can clear this up it would let my mind rest

The intro is definitely Mike on the bass. Obviously with some pretty thick distortion.

I'd give it a go and try and tab it out for you, but my distortion pedal broke recently.

And I can't stand playing distorted stuff clean.
