Need help with song

Hi guys,

I am currently on vacation, which is super nice!
But I have just received an email with a request if i can try out for a band when i return, the tryout is the day after i have returned.
They have emailed me some of their songs, and expect me to learn them by time of the try out.. But I dont have a bass with me on vacation, so i dont know how to learn them.

My question is if there is some kind of a program which can be used to find out which notes each part of the song is. I am not skilled enough to figure that out without having a bass or guitar with me.
If i can learn the chords in my vacation perhaps i have a chance to learn and play some of the songs the night i return.

Yeah saw this on the other board.

Anyway, you should definately look at PowerTab. Go google up PowerTab, download the editor, then go to www.ultimate-guitar.com and look up tabs for the songs you need, and download the powertab versions. Seriously helps me learn a song alot quicker.

Hi, thanks for your answer..

But it isn't coversongs.. They make their own, so they aren't tabbed down anywhere...

If somebody would like to tab some of them for me that would also be a great help.. they aren't really that hard, just some single tones, but i cant figure out which!

you want someone to sit transcribing tunes for you while you lie on a beach, sipping a pina colada, watching girls in bikinis stroll past....? doubt you'll have many takers there
