In Need of a Sugar, Sugar Tab

Anyone know where I can find the correct tab for the Archies "Sugar, Sugar"?

Don't laugh. Sure, it's the definition of a Bubblegum Pop song, but the baseline is killer. The one Tab I found has the guitar riff masquerading as the bass line and is not even close to being correct.

Thanks.

Here it is, as recorded. Didn't transcribe the whole recording because the line is practically the same thing after returning to the chorus. Hope it helps.

Thanks. That helps a bit. I was hoping for the actual tab though, as I'm too lazy to convert it myself. But, it's closer than I've been to getting it down. Thanks again.

I just have to say, Wow, Alvaro. You went way beyond the call of duty with that response!

Well, it's just that it's pretty easy and I had some spare time, so why not?

True enough.
I just wanted to acknowledge that what you provided was so much better than what was requested.

aside, fwiw: Sugar Sugar by the Archies was the very first 45rpm single that was mine (not my parents). IIRC, It was a 'cut-out' from the back of a **Sugar Smacks cereal box.

(edit to add): my memory must be wrong, Google says it was Post Super Sugar Crisp not Kellogg's Sugar Smacks.

One my uncles also had it and I loved it. Clearly remember the amber RCA label spinning on my grandparents' Philips turntable. "Melody Hill" was the B side, IIRC.

Are you implying something about bubblegum?

Not at all.

By the way, wasn't it Double Bubble that was supposed to have spider eggs in it? Or am I thinking of another bubble gum brand?

Thanks again Alvaro for all your help. So how's the weather in Bucaramanga these days? My daughter is Colombian, but she's from Medellin.

Wow! Glad to know, man! One of the reasons I like my hometown so much is its weather, which is the almost perfect middle point (Medellín is PERFECT). Not so hot, not so cold, although these days it's been pretty unpredictable.

I love it during the rainy season. It starts raining like a monsoon at 4 pm and it's all done by 4:15. And you wouldn't know it rained afterwards.

Colombia is a very beautiful country. I'd love to go back to visit Medellin if they ever get the safety issues ironed out.
