Needing a little help guys.

Hello fellow Bassists, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. I am doing a cover of the Red Hot Chili Peppers jam in Argentina 1999. I am however stuck on one part, I can't translate this little part from guitar to bass. Flea is basically playing a long with John.

E|----------------
B|-----5------3---
G|---5------4-----
D|----------------
A|----------------
E|-5------3-------

I know the rest, but what would that be on bass?

Thanks!!

lol well, being a bass forum - i would assume he is playing the bass? and i dont think you could even tune a 6 string bass to a guitar tuning. I might be wrong on that (probably am).
but - its more important to know the name of the note instead of numbers that way you can easily transcribe numbers on strings you may not have, to usable notes on your bass.

5 on the E string would be A, next C . the 5 on the high B string is an E note.

3 on the E string is a G note. 4 on the G is a B note. and the 3 on the B is a D note.

now if you were looking for someone to translate that TAB for you into a bass TAB then i am sorry for wasting your time hahhah.
