Okay, for the most part I can listen to this song and hear what he's playing, tap my bass and find the note, but it's weird because I can't tell if he's playing open G's and D's or whether he's fretting some and playing others open and I can't figure it out. Some notes drone out while others get played and I've not been able to wrap my head around it.
Song's easy, it's G, D, E, then C and B as well I think (and though my theory isn't up to snuff I can assume that means we're dealing with the C key?)

Any input or general feelings of how he plays this are appreciated. It's not hard, but I can't seem to translate it perfectly to the fretboard.
