The notes are Bb, C, Db on beats 1,2,3. I think hes just alternating 16th notes between those three and an Ab. Then its F,Ab,Bb, to walk back up to the Bb.
Its more about the feel and groove, need to accent the Bb, C, and Db, swing the 16th a bit and syncopate the walk up just right to nail it.

Thanks for writing that out for me- i will make it my goal this weekend to have it down. Keeping the walking feel while throwing in 16ths is proving to be harder than it sounds.
Any recommendations on other Hot Wax acts? My favorite types of music are funk/disco/soul and I am always looking for something new.
