Pretend a band decides to do this song and the geetar player and the bass player learn it from tab.......

This is the verse bass part from this site.

Verse Riff 1:
-3-
---------------------------
*-------------------6-7-8-*
*-7---7-7---7-7---7-------*
---------------------------
1 & a 2 & a 3 & a 4 & a

This is the Verse part from www.guitaretab.com

Verse

\--------------------------------------------------
\--------------------------------------------------
\--------------------------------------------------
\--------------------------------------------------
\--------------------------------------------5~6~7-
\-0--0--0--0--0--0--5~6~7--0--0--0--0--0--0--------

I Think the Bass part is Mostly:

Main Riff:

---------------------------
*-------------------7-8-9-*
*-7---7-7---7-7---7-------*
---------------------------
1 & a 2 & a 3 & a 4 & a

There are a few variations later on in the song, between the 2 "Let it Roll" Parts

And I think it's this twice on "Save our City"

-----7-7-5-5------
-------------7-7--
-7-7--------------
------------------

For the "Let It Roll" It's like

----------------------
*-------------4-----*
*----4-4-7-7---7----*
--5-5-----------------
1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &

Playes as straight 8th notes. I think twice the 1st time and 3 times the 2nd time

Oops you're absolutely right. I play it the same way, just wrote it wrong.

I thought you must've made a mistake cause you seem to know what you're talking about. But I decided to post it anyways.

The few ending notes I have trouble finding too, guess I'll just try again when the mood for that song comes around again.

I play the main riff on the open E string like so:

----------------------
----------------7-8-9
-----------------------
-0-0-0-0-0-0-------

Let the E ring, don't mute. Sometimes 9-8-7 on the G string rather than 7-8-9.

The "Let it Roll" part is just a stock pulldown to A. I pull down to the A on the E string. Four bars of stock A blues. Then on the E string: 4 triplets of B then slow C C C B and everybody stops. "All night long" and back to the main riff.

For the ending do the above stop. Guitar plays a little outro, then the bass plays E D on the A string. So you end on the D which leaves the listener hanging and makes the song more memorable.
