I took a look at some of the tabs on the web and I don't play it anything like any of them. I'm at work and away from my bass right now, but from memory I believe that I play it like this:

Intro = guitar riff x3

Guitar riff x1 - first time bass rests

-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
--------------------------------------

2nd time bass joins part way through guitar riff:

--------------------------------
--------------------------------
------6-6-6---4-4-4-----------
--R--------------------4-4----

3rd time bass plays along with guitar riff:

-----------------------------------+------
-----------------------------------+------
------------6-6-6---4-4-4---------+------
--6-6-6----------------------4-4--+--6---

Then the "transition riff" twice

--------------------------------------
--------------------------------------
--------------------------------------
--4h6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6---------------- (x2)

Verse - "one two"

---------------------------------------
--9-9---------7--------7--------------
---------7-9------7-9------7--9------
--------------------------------------- (several times)

Chorus - "but it's all right now…"

----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------
---4-4-4-4-------------6-6-6-6-------------
-------------4-4-4-4-------------6-6-6-6--- (x2)

Then:

Transition riff x2 (or maybe x3)
Verse
Chorus
Transition riff x2
Solo-Intro riff x4 - like this:
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
------------6-6-6---4-4-4---------
--6-6-6----------------------4-4-- (x4)

then:
Transition riff x3 (or x2 - can't remember)
Verse
Chorus
Transition riff x2
Outro-Intro riff

The recorded version is not in standard tuning, so this is as close as I can get to the album. You can click the link in my sig to hear my bands attempt at it (under "music") This was recorded right after we learned it. You'll need better computer speaker than what I have if you are to hear any bass. Hopefully it's not too bad. Forgive the backing vocals - they are bad.
