I know this is a well worn classic for many of you, but I've never had to learn it before. A band I'm sub'ing for plays it. I searched tab sites to get a starting point and found one that I think is mostly good, but I don't think the chorus is correct, especially the second part.
Any help here on how it's done?

Thanks, Base. I appreciate that. I was working at a line close to what you have, but couldn't quite get it. Makes sense now.

You're welcome. I would like to point out that if you look, the whole bassline during the chorus is following a specific structure and is a great example of supporting the progression with the root to fifth "bounce"; which at the same time gives it momentum. Notice how he switches to it compared to whats going on in the verse. Also, notice how the vocal melody switches as well; from a buildup feel in the verse, to the sing song, long note feel during the chorus. The bassline pattern shifts with the vocal shift.

Anyway, just some tidbits to think about to help connect with the song and bring out the most effective dynamics when performing it. Yknow, the kinds of things that help distinguish a decent player from a mofo. :P
