Yah I decided to start learning this yesterday and I'm having a bit of trouble at the solo, thing is I hear a lot of cliffs fills and such but I can't quite make them out, could someone give me some good structured tab that I can work with? All I need is the part where the guitar solo starts.

Pfffft, now's a good chance to learn to use a graphic EQ enough to ATTEMPT to bring Cliff out of those early 'tallica records! :P

But he isn't THAT Quiet in that one... I had a guitar pro tab that looked pretty solid, but I stopped trying that song AGES ago since the solo section was too fast for me at the time

I don't have guitar pro, hahahah too fast.

OK I agree I have to work on my ear, but at the solo it's kinda rough since the guitar is so loud, plus I kinda gave up on trying metallica by ear since Cliff's distortion confuses me. Now can someone just give me some decent tab during the SOLO.

I thought one of the rules of the tab forum were "don't tell anybody to learn <insert request> by ear"...

If you haven't got anything helpful to say, don't say anything at all.

i play the fills exactly how cliff plays them it's pretty basic i found a version off power tabe that ws %100 acurate ive played that song with the CD a half bazillion times and it's all there so search for that one.

i find that song easyer and more fun to play on 5 string that way you can prettymuch play the song in one hand position and no worries about skipping all those frets just chug the open E on the 5th fret B
