| I'm pretty sure that is a straight walkdown in E minor blues scale, you know like:
A 7 7 7 5 5 5
E ----------------7 7 7 6 6 6 5 5 3 3
and then he does like a 5-7 thing on the A string while pedalling the open E under it... Something like...
A ------5 7 7 ------5 7 7
E 0 0 0 ----- 0 0 0
Listen to it for the timing on the last part. Hope that helps. Of course it's very possible that he plays the whole thing on the E string (it's hard to tell from listening, but alot of rock players who play with a pick would tend to play it that way... also, the last part of the section, the second part i tabbed, is the kind of lick alot of people would play only on the E string), you can play it either way and it'll sound pretty good.
