Shocktime # by Bela Fleck

Does anyone have any idea what Vic is doing on this song? Usually I am pretty good at deciphering Vic's stuff, but I can't figure out if he is tapping or just playing tons of thumb triplets (I assume both). Can anyone play it, or give me any advice on how to play it?
