Tab for mustang Sally by Wilson Pickett

Verse/chorus
Play the section in C which starts with an upbeat on the B 4 times followed by the section in F with the E upbeat 4 times then back to the C section for 4 times.

G|------------------|-----------------|
D|------------------|-----------------|
A|---2h3------------|--2h3-----------|
E|---------2h3--1---|-------2h3--1---|

G|------------------|-----------------|
D|---2h3-------1--1|---2h3------1--1-|
A|--------2h3----3--|-------2h3---3--|
E|------------------|-----------------|

Breakdown bit!

G|-----------------|--------------------|----3---3h5-3----
D|--5----3---5-5---|---3h4h5-3h4h5--5-|--5---5-------3-5
A|------3-3--------|--------------------|------------------
E|------------------|-------------------|------------------

and thats that! couldnt find it tabbed anywhere so i thaught id tab it as its a class tune to groove to. Listen to the song to hear the different parts and where they come in. The break down bit isnt exact to the song but it works and it grooves well. this my first tab despite having been playing for years so yeah.....Enjoy

I wouldn't like to discourage you Joe but I think the bassline goes like this...
There are no hammer on's or nothin', just a lot of "offbeat" notes.

That's how I play it too, with small variations and some double-stops high on the neck here and there to spice it up.

Thankyou for the imformation. I just tabbed it how i play it which i know is not exact the to the acctual song. I also throw in alot of variations and runs and stuff but didnt tab them. just thaught id give a rough idea for people to adapt and embelish if they wish.
