| Hey the little blues band I am with plays "My Babe." it's not a traditional 12-bars but its not too hard.
Start in A and play the A on the E string then move to the A string and quickly play frets 4 5 6 7 with a bit of a shuffle style
(I think its a shuffle! I've been playing for a year and a half so take it at face value)
Anyway after 6 of those move up to the E on the A string for your first note then play the quick 6 7 8 9 on the A string twice
Then back to the original A plus the 4 5 6 7 on the A string -i for two measures. Then play only the first note of what would be
the next measure, the single D, and pause. Helps me to sing the lyrics in my head during that pause.
And finish up with the original E string start...on fret 5 then the quick 4 5 6 7 on the A string for the final two measures.
I'm on my Blackberry so can't draw it out for you but hopefully this will help.
The main thing is to get the right rhythm and it is a quick pace. Dave T Atlanta
