Tabs Are Ancient

If you can only read Tabs, you shouldn't feel like a loser! Guess what?! Tablature has been in use in Europe since, at least, the 13th century and they were very popular among lute players.

It's also a little known fact that the ancient Greeks had their own notation system. It consisted of the lyrics with the letters of notes written above them like a guitar song might be written out like.
