My band has decided to cover Barenaked Ladies song "Brian Wilson". I picked up the chords from the net, and made the after-capo adjustments so that when it calls for a G I'm actually playing B flat. Just for kicks, I looked up a bass tab, and to my surprise it was in G. (

Whoever made the tab seemed to have missed the capo! Anyway, no problem as it's not too tough to transpose, but I just wanted to comment on the strangeness of it all. I can appreciate guitards needing capos, but at least bass tab should be written in actual pitch!
