Hello there. Trip here. That tune is in a altered tuning to start with. It was done on a fretless 5 in high C tuning. The tuning is: E A D A D. The low E is was not used as far as I remember. Which these days is about 10 minutes ago... That tune was inspired by a song by Alex De Grassi called "Western." He's a solo guitarist that was on the Windham Hill label back in day.
