Talking Heads "Wild Wild Life" bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out the bridge to Wild Wild Life.

I'm pretty sure it starts with a 1-4-5: F-A#-C but I can't quite get what happens after that. I think I hear a D in there. Something like D-C-D, but my guitar friend thinks there's a G in there that I don't here. We've been playing it F-A#-C-D-G but it sounds wrong to me.

Can anyone help me sort this out?

Thanks

Yes, it is a sexy bassline. Gotta love Tina Weymouth!

Thanks a lot for the tab! I appreciate you working on it. It's pretty close to what I played, except that I hear 7-6-5-4 instead of 7-6-4 for the chorus as it walks down before the E and I don't hear the bridge like you do. Probably why I'm having such trouble.

So, you're saying the bridge is essentially:
F# - G - C - D - C -D then F# - G - C - F - G ?

I guess i don't hear that. But my ears aren't really trained that well yet.

I'll try it again and see if I can hear what you wrote. And again, thanks a million!
